Firstly, new staff are likely to do a better job from day one if they are introduced enthusiastically to your values and ethos. This might include an historical overview of your business that concludes with the importance of the role the new employee has been hired to deliver.

Ensure that as the employer you have established a bi-lateral open door policy.
