Operations Manager - Red Star Country House Hotel - 2 AA Rosettes
Award winning Red Star Hotel with 2 AA rosette restaurant, lounge bar, conference and banqueting and small leisure facilities seek an Operations Manager. The hotel is busy all year round and enjoys an average of 85% occupancy. The hotel is popular with non residents and hotel guests and also caters for weddings and functions.
As Operations Manager you will report into the General Manager and be responsible for Heads of Department and their teams. Duties will include a maintaining and developing a high standard of customer care, training your teams, rotas and stock control. The team and owners have a good rapport and you must be able to communicate effectively with all areas on a regular basis.
You will have a proven track record as a hotel Operations Manager or Deputy General Manager for at least 3 years in a 3 or 4 Red Star property. Also you will have a very good understanding of 1AA / 2AA rosette food menus and wine, a passion for the industry and an organised approach to all areas of hotel operations. Primarily your role will be F&B biased, however, rooms division knowledge would be an advantage.
