A luxurious, beautiful and extentive 5 star Hotel based in Hertfordshire is looking for a skilled Demi Chef de Partie in Pastry. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in a brilliant pastry kitchen which will can develop your pastry skills in every area. The Demi Pastry will get to work with a talented Head Pastry Chef and a Team of 12 pastry and bakery professionals.

The role consists of learning about restaurant desserts, banqueting items, biscuits, cakes, chocolates, vienoisseries (croissants, danish pastries etc) and afternoon teas.

Essential requirements: 

• Passionate and eager to learn
• Good, hygienic presentation
• Excellent pastry experience to date in busy quality restaurant or hotel (4 or 5 star) or catering environment
• Hard working, loyal
• NVQs highly desirable
• Eligible to live & work in the UK with no restrictions
