This course is delivered by Gordon Cartwright and Peter Birnie, who in their senior careers with AA Hotel Services (over 25 years) dined in over 6000 restaurants, administered the Star and Rosette Schemes, and created the AA Rosette Academy.
As part of the Taste Academy we look at what makes a memorable dining experience and focus on 6 key elements crucial to delivering a dining package your diners will remember. If the dining experience is memorable (at any level), you're already beginning to produce loyalty to your operation.

THE REGENT TATSE ACADEMY
Held within your establishment, this dynamic full day course examines the ability of a chef to accurately taste and appreciate food whilst allowing delegates on the day to reconnect with the fundamental skills of cooking and their careers. We explore the science of food, seasonality, blind tastings, fresh produce, what works and what doesn’t how to create successful menus for the right market, and how ultimately you can make your business successful and profitable. The course is actually a rolling national competition with the annual top five candidates receiving prizes.

£250 per delegate. Each delegate receives a certificate and his score displayed on the Regent website if in the annual Top Five.
